Six Brothers Gift ₹8 Crore Mayra to Their Sister in Nagaur, Rajasthan

A historic Mayra (Bhaat) ceremony took place in Nagaur district of Rajasthan where six brothers from the Mehria family gifted their sister Bhanwari Devi gifts worth around ₹8 crore. The ceremony was attended by thousands of people from across the state. The gifts included gold, silver, cash, land, a tractor with trolley and other valuables. Around 1 kg of gold and several kilograms of silver were presented along with ₹2.5 crore in cash. The event has been described as one of the biggest Mayra ceremonies in Rajasthan and possibly in India.
