Jaipur: The Rajasthan government made a major administrative decision late last night, implementing extensive transfers across the state. The order, issued after Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma's approval, assigns new responsibilities to 65 IAS officers . The reshuffle also includes the replacement of the collectors of 25 districts , marking a major shift in the administrative structure.
The government views this move as a way to strengthen administration and improve implementation of plans. According to reports, this list was prepared after several days of high-level deliberations and was released late last night by the Personnel Department.
Changes in many big districts including Jaipur
There has been a big change in the capital Jaipur also.
Jitendra Kumar Soni has been appointed as the Secretary to the Chief Minister, and he has also been given the additional responsibility of the Information and Public Relations Department.
Whereas Sandesh Nayak has been made the new collector of Jaipur.
Other than this:
Tina Dabi transferred from Barmer to Tonk
Ashish Modi is the new collector in Sikar.
Former Collector Mukul Sharma has been appointed as the Special Secretary to the Chief Minister.
After about one and a half years, Sikar has got a new collector, which is being considered important from the point of view of local administration.

Jodhpur Division and other important appointments
Important changes have also taken place in the Jodhpur division:
Kanhaiya Lal Swami has been appointed as the Divisional Commissioner, Jodhpur.
Rahul Jain has been appointed as the Commissioner of Jodhpur Municipal Corporation.
Along with this, many senior officers have been given new responsibilities in various departments, which include major departments like Panchayati Raj, Jal Jeevan Mission, Housing Board, Finance, Industry, Education and Health.

The government has given responsibility of important departments to several experienced officers:
Dr. Jogaram – Panchayati Raj and National Health Mission
Rajan Vishal – Jal Jeevan Mission
Suresh Ola – RIICO and Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor
Babulal Goyal – Medical Education Department
Gaurav Saini – Jaipur Development Authority
Apart from this, several officers have been appointed as OSD and Joint Secretary in the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), to strengthen policy making and monitoring.
Collectors were changed in these districts
New collectors have been appointed in 25 districts across the state. The major districts are as follows:

Jodhpur – Alok Ranjan
Udaipur – Gaurav Agarwal
Bikaner – Nishant Jain
Pali – Ravindra Goswami
Nagaur – Devendra Kumar
Sriganganagar – Amit Yadav
Chittorgarh – Dr. Manju
Apart from this, new administrative officers have been posted in many districts including Jaisalmer, Barmer, Tonk, Sikar, Bundi, Karauli, Dausa, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Sirohi, Khairthal-Tijara, Kotputli-Behror.

The government believes this reshuffle is aimed at increasing administrative efficiency, improving monitoring of schemes, and accelerating implementation at the ground level . The new officers are expected to perform better in their respective districts and departments, effectively implementing state government schemes.
