Jodhpur. The Jodhpur district administration has completed extensive and rigorous preparations for the 2026 Sub-Inspector Recruitment Examination. The examination will be conducted over two days, with candidates participating at 111 examination centers across the district. To ensure a fair and transparent examination, the administration has made elaborate monitoring and security arrangements at every level.
The exam will be held at 111 examination centres, including government and private institutions.
A total of 111 examination centers have been set up in the district. Of these, 50 centers are located in government institutions and 61 in private schools. To maintain orderly arrangements at all centers during the examination, the administration has assigned responsibilities at different levels.
69,500 candidates will appear for the exam in two shifts over two days.
This recruitment exam will be held over two days, with two shifts each day. A total of approximately 69,500 candidates will appear for the exam. Given the large number of candidates, a special plan has been developed for traffic, security, and crowd management.
Deployment of Flying Squad and Deputy Coordinator
Twenty flying squads have been formed to monitor the examination. Each squad will consist of officers from the administrative and police services. Additionally, 37 deputy coordinators have been appointed to coordinate and monitor the various exam centers.
Observers and strict monitoring at every centre
Observers have been deployed at each examination center along with the center superintendent. These officers will monitor the entire examination process to ensure no irregularities or disturbances occur.
Strict laws against copying and manipulation, heavy fines and imprisonment
The administration has clarified that strict action will be taken against those found cheating or violating exam secrecy. Those found guilty face a fine ranging from ₹10 lakh to ₹10 crore and a jail term of up to five years. This action will be taken under the Rajasthan Examination Recruitment Act 2022.

Additional District Collector Anjuman Tahir visited the examination centers to review the arrangements. She instructed officials to ensure all arrangements were made on time and with full responsibility.
