In Rajasthan's Jaisalmer district, a thief with a unique style has been arrested once again. After committing a theft, he would eat and drink comfortably on the spot and then leave, leaving messages on the walls. This time, the police arrested him in Jodhpur.
Who is this 'Manmouji' thief?
The accused has been identified as Tejaram Suthar (39), a resident of the Babar Magra area of Jaisalmer. He has more than 18 theft cases registered against him in various police stations. His most distinctive feature is that he lives the crime as an "experience"—not just stealing, but also staying at the scene and doing whatever he wants.
After stealing, he used to 'rest' and write messages.
Recently, he broke into the vacant house of an assistant engineer in a government colony and stole a laptop, TV, perfume and clothes.
But the surprising thing was that before leaving he wrote strange messages on the wall –
“If you keep liquor at home, keep chips too.”
“Don’t report to the police, it will waste time.”
Not only this, he also wrote his name in a funny manner as “Bihari Babu”.
I don't keep a mobile, it was difficult to catch it
According to police officials, the accused does not use a mobile phone, making his location extremely difficult to trace. This is why he managed to evade police for so long despite repeatedly committing crimes.
Success achieved through information from an informant
Finally, the police received information from an informant that he was hiding in Jodhpur. The team acted quickly, arresting him and bringing him to Jaisalmer. The stolen laptop was also recovered from him.
He immediately confesses his crime in court.
Another unique feature of this thief is that after his arrest, he immediately confesses his crime in court to avoid police remand. Upon his release from jail, he returns to committing thefts.
The 'unique criminal' poses a challenge for the police
Tejaram Suthar's methods set him apart from ordinary thieves. His nonchalant demeanor, his willingness to stop at the scene, and his writing of messages have baffled even the police.
This "eccentric" thief caught in Jaisalmer not only steals, but also makes each crime unique with his unusual behavior. Police are currently interrogating him and hope he can help solve other cases as well.
