Jodhpur: The state government has taken a major administrative decision and issued transfer orders for 64 IPS officers late on Friday night. The list also includes the names of several senior police officers associated with Jodhpur. Under this reshuffle, new officers have been appointed to important positions in Jodhpur Commissionerate and Jodhpur Rural Police, which is expected to bring several changes in the police administration.
PD Nitya appointed as SP of Jodhpur Rural
IPS officer PD Nitya, who was serving as DCP East in Jodhpur Commissionerate, has been transferred and appointed as the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Jodhpur Rural. She will now be responsible for maintaining law and order in rural areas. It is expected that under her leadership, policing in rural regions will become more effective.
Manish Kumar Chaudhary becomes new DCP East
The government has appointed Manish Kumar Chaudhary as the DCP East in Jodhpur Commissionerate. Earlier, he was serving as the Superintendent of Police of Khairthal–Tijara district. He will now handle law and order and police administration in the eastern zone of Jodhpur city.
Transfers of Togas and Bansal after promotion
Narayan Togas, SP of Jodhpur Rural, and Vineet Kumar Bansal, DCP West of Jodhpur Commissionerate, have been transferred to new postings following their promotions.
Narayan Togas has been appointed as DIG, ACB Ajmer.
Vineet Kumar Bansal has been given the responsibility of DIG, RAC Battalion-2, Jaipur.
Kamal Shekhawat appointed DCP West
The government has appointed Kamal Shekhawat as DCP West in Jodhpur Commissionerate. Earlier, she was serving as Superintendent of Police (Vigilance), Jaipur. She will now handle law and order in the western part of Jodhpur city.
Roshan Meena also transferred
Roshan Meena, who was serving as ADCP West in Jodhpur Commissionerate, has also been transferred. He has been appointed as the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Nagaur district.
Expected changes in police administration
With this major administrative reshuffle by the state government, significant changes are expected in the police administration of Jodhpur. The appointment of new officers is expected to further strengthen law and order in both urban and rural areas.
