Ajmer. Police have achieved another significant success in a special campaign against foreign nationals living illegally in Rajasthan. The district police's Special Task Force (STF) detained and interrogated a suspect in the Ajmer Dargah area, identifying him as a Bangladeshi national. Police have arrested him and are investigating his network.

More than 50 suspects have been identified so far.

According to police officials, more than 50 Bangladeshi nationals have been identified and taken action against during this ongoing operation in the city. This campaign is being carried out with the aim of identifying and deporting illegal Bangladeshi and Rohingya immigrants.

The campaign is being carried out under the direction of senior officials.

This entire operation is being carried out on the instructions of senior officials of the Ajmer Range. The police have formed a special team for this purpose, consisting of local police, the CID, and other intelligence agencies. The team is constantly monitoring sensitive areas.

Intensive search operation carried out in these areas

Based on information from informants and technical inputs, the Special Task Force (STF) conducted extensive searches in Dargah Bazaar, Andarkot, Taragarh, Nai Sadak, Silawat Mohalla, Bada Peer Road, and surrounding areas. During this operation, several suspects were apprehended and interrogated.

This is how the accused was revealed

During the operation, a man was found wandering suspiciously in the Bara Peer Road area. Police detained him and questioned him, identifying himself as a resident of Rangpur district, Bangladesh. Initial investigation revealed that he was living in India without any valid documents.

The story of entering India and reaching Ajmer

During interrogation, the accused revealed that he illegally crossed the border and first reached the Malda region of West Bengal, where he lived temporarily for several years. He then traveled by train to Delhi and then to Ajmer, where he lived in the Dargah area, earning his living by begging.

Police engaged in investigating the network

Currently, the police are continuously questioning the accused. They are trying to determine who else he has connections with in India and whether he is part of a larger network. They are also investigating who helped him reach this point.

Security agencies alert

Following this action, security agencies have become even more vigilant. Police say they will intensify such operations in the coming days to identify illegal foreign nationals and take appropriate legal action.
