Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha is currently in the news due to growing differences within the party. A recent social media post by him has further heated up the political atmosphere. His gesture has raised questions about whether he is planning to make any major political decisions in the future.
Social media posts sparked discussion
Raghav Chadha shared a video on Instagram in which a content creator suggested he start his own political party. He described the idea as an "interesting thought."
This small reaction is now being seen as a big political signal, especially when his relations within the party are said to be strained.
Case of removal from responsibilities in the party
In a recent development, the AAP leadership removed Raghav Chadha from the post of Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha. Ashok Kumar Mittal was appointed in his place.
Apart from this, his right to speak on behalf of the party in Parliament was also limited, which indicated that the top leadership was distancing itself from him.
Allegations and questions from party leaders
Senior AAP leaders Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi also questioned Raghav Chadha's stance.
It was alleged that he did not sign the impeachment motion brought against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
He was also asked why he does not raise direct questions on Narendra Modi.
Questions were also raised about his absence from party protests, especially when a major movement was underway at the time of Arvind Kejriwal's arrest.
Raghav Chadha's reply
Amidst these allegations, Raghav Chadha clarified that he was not getting enough opportunity to put forward his views within the party.
He also said that he has always raised issues related to the common people and the middle class and there is nothing wrong in doing so.
He claims that attempts are being made to “silence” him, which is against democratic values.
The sign with the book also became a topic of discussion.
Recently, Raghav Chadha mentioned a book in a post, in which it was written –
“Never outshine the master”
That means do not try to surpass your Guru.
This line is also being seen from a political perspective and is being understood in connection with his relationship with the party leadership.
Can a new party be formed?
At present, Raghav Chadha has not made any official announcement regarding forming a new party.
But:
Social media signs
distance from the party
Reduction in responsibilities
All these incidents have definitely indicated that some big political step may come forward in the future.
This ongoing conflict within the AAP is not just about one person, but also raises questions about the party's internal politics and leadership style. The coming times will reveal whether Raghav Chadha will consolidate his role within the party or begin a new chapter in Indian politics.
