With the activation of a Western Disturbance in Rajasthan, the weather has taken a sudden turn. Bikaner and Jalore have been experiencing intermittent rain since morning, while in Jaisalmer and Barmer, rain accompanied by strong winds has damaged crops. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the entire state, except for Dungarpur and Banswara, and an orange alert for nine districts. The effects of this new system are expected to last until March 20.
