Jodhpur/Jaipur. The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has declared the results for the Class 12 board exams in 2026. While overall results have declined slightly this year, students—especially girls—have once again proven their talent with outstanding performances.
A slight decline in the overall result
The overall pass percentage for Class 12 this year was around 97.20% , which is slightly lower than the 97.76% recorded last year in 2025. While the drop is not significant, it indicates that the level of the exam was relatively challenging this time.
Varsha Rani became the topper in commerce.
Varsha Rani secured first place in the state in the Commerce stream , scoring 99.20% . However, overall results in this stream have declined, which is a cause for concern for education experts.
5 students performed brilliantly in Science
Five students have jointly topped the Science stream, scoring 99.80% . This indicates that competition was fierce and students prepared at a high level.
Daughters dominate the top 5
The most significant feature of this year's results was that girls secured four of the top five positions . This is a positive sign of the ever-increasing female education and empowerment.
The performance of the girl students became a topic of discussion.
Like every year, this time too, the female students have set new examples of success. With excellent results, discipline, and consistent hard work, the girls have excelled.
Opinion of education experts
Experts believe that despite a slight decline in overall results, students' performance is commendable. They also emphasize the need to pay special attention to the decline in the commerce stream. While the overall percentage in the RBSE 12th Result 2026 may have dropped slightly, the achievements of the toppers and the dominance of girls make this result special. This result also signals further strengthening of the education system in the coming years.
