Ajmer. A heartbreaking road accident was reported from Rajasthan's Ajmer district on Sunday. A private bus lost control and overturned on a dangerous curve in the Pushkar Valley. Two people died on the spot and more than 22 were injured, many of whom are in critical condition.
Cause of accident: Dangerous turn became fatal
According to preliminary information, the bus lost control at a sharp turn on the uphill side of the valley. The driver lost control and the bus overturned. At the time of the accident, the bus was carrying families from the same community who were on their way to a 'Mayra' (rice-feast) ceremony in a nearby village. The sudden accident caused chaos at the scene, and the entire area echoed with the screams of the passengers.
Local people started rescue
Immediately after the incident, nearby villagers and passersby began rescue and relief efforts. It took considerable effort to free the people trapped in the bus. Upon receiving the information, police and administration teams arrived at the scene and immediately sent the injured to the hospital via ambulance.
Chaos in the hospital
The injured were admitted to Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital, where chaos reigned in the emergency ward. A large number of relatives arrived, creating a tense situation.
District Collector Lok Bandhu and SP Harsh Vardhan reached the spot and took stock of the situation and instructed the doctors not to show any negligence in treating the injured.

The joy of the brothers and relatives carrying their "mayra" (gifts) to their sisters' homes suddenly turned to mourning.
