Security arrangements have been heightened to unprecedented levels ahead of the event, scheduled to take place in Pachpadra on April 21, 2026. In response, the district administration has temporarily declared the entire Balotra area a no-fly zone to eliminate any possibility of security breaches.
Complete ban on drones and aerial activities
According to an order issued by the District Magistrate, the operation of any flying objects, including drones, UAVs, and hot air balloons, will be completely prohibited in all urban and rural areas of the district. This decision was taken keeping in mind VVIP movement, where even minor negligence can pose a major security challenge.
How long will the ban remain in effect?
According to the deadline set by the administration, this ban will be effective from 8 pm on April 20, 2026, and will remain in effect until 10 pm on April 21, 2026. During this period, any type of air activity will be completely prohibited without administrative permission.

Strict action against rule breakers
The administration has made it clear that strict legal action will be taken against those who violate the order. Strict action will be taken by filing cases under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Suraksha Sanhita 2023 (BNSS). Security agencies are maintaining constant vigil, especially around the refinery area and the venue.
Importance increased due to refinery project
The Prime Minister's visit is linked to the major industrial project underway in Pachpadra, specifically the refinery. This project is considered crucial for the industrial development not only of Balotra but of the entire Rajasthan. Therefore, no laxity is being observed regarding security.
Security agencies fully deployed
In addition to the local police, paramilitary forces and the Special Protection Group (SPG) have also taken charge of the area. All activities are being closely monitored, and sensitive locations have already been cordoned off.
Administration's appeal to the general public
The district administration has appealed to citizens for cooperation, urging them to follow the rules and immediately report any suspicious activity to the police. Separate guidelines are also being issued for attendees to ensure the event runs peacefully and safely.
In view of the Prime Minister's visit, security arrangements in Balotra have reached unprecedented levels, where strictness is being maintained on every aspect so that the programme can be organised successfully without any hindrance.
