Ajmer/Ambala. As the investigation into the suspects arrested with the explosive substance RDX in Ambala, Haryana, progresses, links appear to be emerging with Rajasthan. According to investigating agencies, the main accused in this case, Ali Akbar alias Babu, originally from Ajmer, Rajasthan, previously worked as an auto driver.

The facts revealed during the interrogation have increased the concern of the security agencies, as many important links are being searched between his access to explosives sent through drones from Pakistan and the possible terrorist conspiracy.

Explosives sent from Pakistan via drone

According to investigative agencies, explosives were sent into India from Pakistan via drones along the border. In this connection, several suspects were arrested in Ambala, including Ali Akbar.

Preliminary investigations have also indicated that these explosives were intended to be used to carry out a major attack in Hanumangarh district, Rajasthan. However, the full scope of this conspiracy will only be revealed after further investigation.

The name appeared in the police records four years ago.

Police records revealed that Ali Akbar has been involved in controversies before. In 2022, a complaint was filed against him in the Pisangan police station area of Ajmer district.

According to the complaint, he had threatened to kill a man over a guesthouse rent dispute. At that time, police arrested him and booked him on charges of disturbing the peace.

Attempt to scare in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi gang

During that old dispute, Ali Akbar had tried to intimidate the complainant by claiming to be associated with the gang of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

However, the investigating agencies have not yet been able to clarify whether he actually had any connection with any gang or he had taken the name of the gang only to spread terror.

From ordinary life to suspicious networks

Ali Akbar, a resident of the Logiya neighborhood in the Delhi Gate area of Ajmer city, lived a normal family life. He made a living by driving an auto-rickshaw around the city.

His father was a former conductor for Rajasthan Roadways, and other family members are also said to be employed in casual jobs. Ali Akbar is married and has two children.

Many questions before the investigating agencies

In view of the seriousness of the matter, central and state security agencies are now trying to find out how an ordinary auto driver came in contact with the terrorist network.

The investigation is focusing on some important questions:

Was Ali Akbar just a person delivering explosives or part of a sleeper cell?

Why did he take the name of Lawrence gang earlier, is there any real connection?

Who were his local associates in Ajmer and surrounding areas?

Who helped him reach the border area?

Security agencies are searching for the 'missing link'

Investigating agencies are currently examining Ali Akbar's mobile phone records, contacts, and financial transactions, and are also looking into whether he was part of a larger network.

If these links are confirmed in the investigation, then this case will not be limited to the recovery of explosives only, but a big international conspiracy can also be exposed.
