Jaipur. Bhajanlal Sharma lashed out at the opposition during an entrepreneurial dialogue program held in Jaipur on Wednesday. He said that the Congress party engages in politics aimed at tarnishing the country's image, and that the opposition feels uncomfortable when the government clearly states its position.
Opposition cornered on LPG issue
Responding to questions about LPG supply, the Chief Minister said that this is not just a Rajasthan problem but a broader issue. He accused the Congress party of politicizing the issue.
He said the gas situation in the state is under control and the government is continuously making efforts to improve supply. While previously limited to a few days, the stock has now been expanded to approximately eight days and will be further strengthened.
“It is important to understand the pain of the people”
Addressing entrepreneurs, the Chief Minister said that understanding ground realities is essential for development. He added that his government prioritizes the needs of the common people when formulating plans, rather than engaging in cosmetic politics.
CM Sharma also attacked the previous government and said that earlier there was a lack of policy decisions and the general public, youth and the industry were troubled.
He alleged that the benefits of central schemes were not reaching the people properly and development was affected due to corruption.
“Emphasis on policy-based governance”
He said the current government is working based on policies rather than personal preferences. Plans have been formulated in consultation with experts for the overall development of the state.
24-hour electricity target by 2027
Outlining future plans, the Chief Minister stated that strengthening infrastructure in the state is a priority for the government. He assured that the goal is to provide 24-hour electricity to farmers and industries by 2027.
Roadmap ready for development
He said that keeping in mind the goal of “Developed Rajasthan”, the government has prepared a long-term strategy in which special focus has been given on sectors like electricity, water, industry and employment.
This statement by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, while clarifying the government's position on a sensitive issue like LPG, also intensifies the political attack on the Congress party. In the coming days, the government's performance on promises related to electricity and development will be closely monitored.
