Priyanka Bishnoi, a promising para-athlete from Sonalpura village in the Phalodi region of Rajasthan, has once again showcased her strength across the country. At the 24th Para National Championships, held in Bhubaneswar from March 17-22, Priyanka performed brilliantly, winning the gold medal in the discus throw and setting a new national record.
Moreover, she achieved this feat by defeating Asian-level strongman and Grant Fix gold medalist Laxmi in the competition. With this impressive performance, Priyanka has also qualified for the Asian Championships.
Apart from this, Priyanka has brought laurels to Rajasthan and her village by winning the silver medal in shot put throw.

Priyanka Bishnoi is a talented athlete with a disability who hails from the small village of Sonalpura in the Phalodi district of Rajasthan. Despite limited resources, she has made a significant mark in the sports world through her hard work and dedication.
She is continuously training under the guidance of her coaches Yamuna Shankar Asopa, Mahipal ji and Shobha ma'am and now her aim is to win a medal for India at the international level.

Priyanka's father, Kumbharam Khawa, serves the country in the BSF and is currently posted in Odisha, in a Naxal-affected area. Priyanka's achievement has brought joy to the entire family and region.
