A sensational murder occurred Friday night in the Gida police station area of Barmer district. Mahendra Meghwal (21), a local resident, was strangled to death. Police revealed that his wife, Anu Devi, and her lover, Amararam, were involved in the murder.
Mahendra Meghwal married Anu Devi, a resident of Bagundi, about four years ago. The couple had been constantly fighting ever since their marriage. Family members and community members repeatedly tried to mediate and pacify the two, but the disputes continued.
